Services Golf Club (Dienste Gholfklub) was originally formed for the members of the four service departments in Pretoria. In 1994 the club was opened for the public. This parkland style course (18 Hole, 6713m, 72 Par Rating) with few water hazards offers some interesting challenges.

Services Golf Club was officially formed in 1920 in the area between the Grand Magazine, the prison department and the artillery barracks of Pretoria.

“In 1967 a committee was formed and a memorandum proposed which was later approved by the minister of defense and in 1969 Services Country Club came into existence.”
